Fractal Time - Gregg Braden discusses how he merged the ancient understanding of cycles with modern views of nature’s patterns. Such patterns or fractals repeat on a cyclic basis following the rhythms of nature, and so we can predict the return of these conditions, he explained. Right now, we are nearing the end of a 5,125 year cycle, as shown in the Mayan calendar. Great civilizations in the past have collapsed at this juncture due to earth changes, and we’re going to have to work together in a cooperative manner in order to not just survive, but to transcend, he said.

2012 marks the ending of a world age, and as we move into a direct alignment with the energy source in the center of our galaxy, we’ll see profound effects on the Earth, Braden outlined.

He has developed a tool called the Time Code Calculator which gives people access to dates related to patterns and cycles, and when we can expect the conditions of the past to play out again in the present or future. Interestingly, Mode 3 of the Calculator works with “seed events” to determine the times in people’s lives where repeating conditions of powerful emotional experiences will reoccur. ”

Catching a glimpse of your own greatness can be one of the most unsettling experiences imaginable. And even more disturbing is the awareness of the tremendous challenges that await you if you accept it. Living consciously is not an easy path, but it is a uniquely human experience, and it requires…

So, I made a decision not to worry. Ever. I began to understand that it was a habit of my mind. My heart doesn’t worry, my body doesn’t worry, only my head does. I chose to establish a new habit of consideration and trust—trust that people are tremendously resilient and that the universe could operate without my constant nagging interference. But it wasn’t enough to just not worry; I needed to replace the habit of worry with something else, and I chose trust. Much to my surprise, I found that not worrying increased my capacity to attend to what was in front of me. All that energy I’d been using to worry was freed up for me to use in much more creative and interesting ways—like helping to change the world.
